The creation of this book NUBES was born from reading the Total Movement — The body and the Dance of José Gil.
Observing the movement, direction, and direction of the cloud and its transformation process led me to this photographic study.
Moving clouds create changes within them that resemble figures that dance in which I observe, see and imagine, referring them to an imagined and virtual stage, similar to what the dancers in a gestural metamorphosis articulate.
I also tried to establish proximity to the plasticity of the drawing and to escape a more documental analogy of the cloud as an atmospheric phenomenon and meteorological movement.
With Helder Moura Pereira’s poems present, I intended to establish a dialogue between photography and poetry.
