Photography occupies the ground between technology and art, the objective and subjective. Narrative forms such as music, cinema, and literature constantly move us forward while photography and poetry encourage a contemplative approach. “Tonewood” is a collaboration between photographer Lawrence Impey and poet Sue Rose, with twenty poems and thirty-four related images of woodland, photographed over the four seasons.
