“What I explore photographically is located in a process of associations and metaphors, which arise from the questioning of what reality is and what we are. And, as such, I am not interested in the clarity that the document contains, but in the result that it provides me, transforming it into “my reality”. In these last years, I have been looking for themes related to thinking, knowledge of the self, and problems of the mind. Diseases, pathologies, and what is associated with them, fascinate me for the vast possibilities of material with which I can work. The understanding of the human being as an individual — his existence, is a matter of constant study. My work is entirely connected to what I feel and think, it is internal, in some cases it is visceral and raw. This act of deconstructing and reinventing does not end with me, it extends to others, and that is the meaning — the other, people. I am in this process, more or less documental and close, in which the subjectivity and contamination of fiction are present.”
