Photobook by Nicola Ferrara
This book it’s a monograph containing 50 photographs taken between 2012 and 2019 in London. While I was moving my first steps into the world of candid photography I was also trying to find my place in a foreign city. For five years I spent most of my lunch breaks and evenings scouring the streets seeking to capture people, animals, cityscapes — in short, the British life. I was living two lives at the same time: I was the boy from southern Italy seeking the wonder of a foreign culture, but I was also an outsider that hadn’t yet discovered a way to be part of that society.
