The Phooks has been slowly but effectively growing since 2019 as an online photobook library and marketplace where artists and small publishers list and sell their publications directly to customers. Since the first day, we have been focused on building an international community to support authors with exposure and, of course, sales.

To make it genuinely helpful for authors who are not always able to set up international payments systems, we process orders and provide customer support, charging the lowest commission on the photobook sales market and no additional transaction fees:
- 15% for books priced <$15.
- 25% for books proceed ≥ $15.
With our help, authors, even without a huge following base, sell their books and zines overseas. However, it is not always suitable for small publishers and bookstores because even the smallest commission brings their margin below zero. To address this, we offer a new model that will help to promote books at an even lower price. There are three options:

Your products will be listed in the library with an external link to your website instead of our “Add to Cart” button. This will lead visitors to your website, allow you to grow your own subscriber and customer base and sell on your own rules without any commissions.
