Photobook by Yan Morvan

Yan Morvan is known for being among the greatest contemporary war reporters, from his debut. He first worked with Libération then, as a member of Sipa Press, he became a permanent correspondent for the American weekly Newsweek. For them, he covered the most important disputes in the world.
He regularly comes back to France to shoot reports covering the margins of society. In 1994, he devoted himself to self-immerse in Pigalle, its cabarets, sex shops and the occasional swinger clubs. From there, he brought back portraits of night dwellers, behind-the-scenes pictures, both color and black & white, of shady sidewalks, where men like women came looking for the nightly thrill of transgression.
