Photographic report of a part of a long-distance trail, I walked between Groningen den Dalen in the Netherlands. This booklet contains photos made along the way with short captions. The chosen images show elements from the landscape that connect the use in the present and the past. In addition, it also contains three Land Art pieces realised en route. The whole takes you through a modest Drenthe landscape with photos that show an eye for detail and atmosphere.
Roelant Meijer (1971) makes publications about walks far away as well closeby that address emptiness, silence and raise philosophical questions. By the design and photography, he brings the walk to life in the tradition of the walking artists.
