Photographer and curator since 1985. ‘The aim of my work is to break through the presumptions of habitual seeing.Recognizing the merit of modest places and moments, instead of glamourizing the unattainable and the plastic. Showing what is important, what really matters – things of value.
My photos have to look effortless, free of formal acrobatics. Above all, I want to make ‘open’ images — open for discovery and interpretation. Images that give the viewer the freedom to roam and do not dictate one fixed, conclusive reading.’
